Our experience has shown that sometimes external advice can make a major difference. Many suppliers have been seen to supply solutions that are either too complex or even too costly. Even worse we have observed technologies deployed without the benefit of good advice. In one instance we found a customer who had paid over £500,000 for a solution so unsuitable for their business that it needed a further £500,000 investment a year later to replace it in its entirety. Although the above example is extreme, it is not uncommon to see. At Excis Networks we only give the best advice to our clients where an objective technical opinion is needed.
