Excis Networks Limited continued success in the security consulting and website development marketplace has lead to further expansion. After identifying many different opportunities and needs, we are recruiting specialists with knowledge of security products such as Cisco's products and Checkpoint products as well as XML developers. These specialists will bring further skills to the organisation and will see many different benefits being brought to our customer base.
As a part of its ongoing strategy to increase its presence in the security marketplace, Excis Networks Limited has formed a strategic relationship with ENTERCEPT for the sale of their Host Intrusion Detection Systems. The Entercept product is widely recognised as an IDS system with many advanced features and it is rapidly gaining acceptance as the de-facto Host Intrusion Detection System in many sectors including the financial sector. The Entercept product will serve to enhance the existing IDS portfolio offered by Excis Networks Limited that include Okena HIDS and Cisco's Netranger products.
After an extremely successful financial year showing sustained growth and increasing market share Excis Networks Limited is gaining recognition with our client base as an organisation with many facets. Because of our unique structure and product portfolio, we are increasingly achieving sales in new areas such as Managed Services and IT strategy consulting. Our expertise is bringing many benefits to our customers including large cost savings and asset rationalisation. Further successes are planned for this next financial year, with us already being on track to achieve an 80% growth in sales.
The Excis
Networks Limited Web Division is constantly working to build innovative
solutions for our clientele. As a part of this innovation, we have just
added the capabilities to service customer demands for 3 dimensional modelling
and web sites. By adding 3D capabilities we can build product prototypes
for our customers that can allow their customers to interact with the
products via web based media. This added dimension to cyberspace is an
increasing growth area as companies differentiate their product presentation
to customers via the web.
Working
alongside companies such as Fujitsu Consulting and Honeywell, Excis Networks
Limited has secured an ongoing contract to provide 3rd level support for
the network and security systems of a large UK financial services company.
By drawing on our unique skills base in the security and network arena
we are able to offer specialist services that ensure system availability
within tight service level agreements. Should a failure occur, we are
able to draw on specialists who know the financial systems intimately,
thereby ensuring minimal downtime.
After working to extremely aggressive timescales, Excis Networks Limited delivered two call centres to a large financial services company based in Scotland. By utilising specialist skills, Excis Networks Limited was able to integrate various platforms to give the capabilities to the call centres. These platforms included Microsoft Windows 2000, SMS and Cisco products including 4000 series switches, 7200 series routers, Checkpoint firewalls and Mitel SX2000 light PABX's with Aspect ACD.
After working extensively over the Christmas period, Excis Networks Limited delivered a web based marketing campaign to a major high street brand. This marketing campaign was in the form of pop up adverts built in Macromedia Flash with both animated and audio content and was hosted on the Sky News website.
As a part of our international business strategy, Excis Networks Limited has opened a regional office in Antwerp Belgium. This office employs members of our European Sales Team and it marks a major new venture into the Benelux region.
Following on from our success in August, Excis Networks Limited secured an ongoing contract to supply consultancy services to ISBANK in areas such as network design and security. Working with ISBANK, we have been able to ensure that their financial systems are hardened and by designing systems according to Cisco's SAFE architecture, have increased security while lowering costs.
With the world of banking systems being very sensitive with a need for strong security, ISBANK, one of Turkeys premier banks requested Excis Networks Limited to assist in securing their infrastructure in their prestigious UK headquarters. This included network infrastructure upgrades as well as the deployment of IDS systems, firewalls and audit software.
Excis Networks has signed a contract for the provision of Project Management and Technical Consultancy with a major utility company, HONEYWELL INTERNATIONAL INC. The contract provides for services to the company's credit card operations and will see the development and implementation of secure infrastructure over the next 3 months. This work follows on from our previous activities in the credit card sector where we have built and developed secure systems for other credit card companies in the past.
Part of the services offered by Excis Networks includes details on organisations that assist small businesses in areas such as finance, development and consultancy. Other services include product packages that support small businesses in their IT infrastructure needs, from documentation to recommendations on business efficiency to reduce costs. Excis networks have completed a major systems integration project with the RAC. After choosing Excis Networks as a supplier, we worked extensively with the RAC to deliver a network solution that would allow real time transfer of information for command and control purposes. The system required some innovative uses of Virtual Private Networks (VPN) technologies to transfer and control information updates across geographical boundaries. The system is mission critical to the RAC and is seen by them to be a primary differentiator in today's highly competitive market place.
With tight delivery timescales, the DAILY MAIL (Associated Mediabase) approached Excis Networks to deliver a migration solution for one of their recent business acquisitions. The project required a Wide Area Solution whereby two separate infrastructures were merged. The technologies concerned included Frame Relay and SMDS as well as security solutions.
After extensive activities over the Christmas period, Excis Networks delivered a fully functional Remote Access VPN solution to EZER TRANSPORT to allow them to maintain business connectivity across geographic boundaries. The technologies concerned allow for the highest security and authentication whilst allowing full connectivity and collaboration between Ezer's different project offices and their mobile work force.
